Let’s be honest, the word “statistics” doesn’t often ignite our interest, right? But despite our reluctance, Ofsted requires all schools to make certain statistical information available online. Our job is to find ways to make it more interesting and accessible.
Take Key Stage 2 as an example. All primary schools must publish the following information:-
• The percentage of pupils who have achieved Level 4 or above in reading, writing and maths
• The percentage of pupils who have improved by 2 or more levels in reading, writing and maths between KS1 and KS2
• The percentage of pupils who achieved Level 5 or above in reading and writing
• The percentage of pupils who achieved Level 5 or above in maths
How can these figures be published in a way that makes them easy for the reader to digest?
Our talented team of developers worked with REAch2 Multi Academy Trust to do just that. The resulting animated statistical performance page brings numbers to life, with fully mobile responsive, dynamic, moving charts and graphs to display key figures.
