Smarter Reach manages the operations of the Whitgiftian Association, the membership organisation for the alumni of Whitgift School, a boy’s independent school in Croydon. We also manage the content of the Association’s website and its numerous social media platforms which are an essential means of communication with both WA members and other Whitgift alumni.
We are constantly looking for new ways to ensure that services to our clients remain up to date, current and, where possible, “cutting-edge”. As a result, we recently looked at how best the bi-monthly members’ newsletter could be delivered. The newsletter is an important tool to reach out to members and communicate details of events, reunions, Old Whitgiftian (OW) news and other updates.
We decided to initiate a design overhaul and install page-turning technology for easy reading on multiple devices including smartphones and tablets. This has proved a welcome development, in particular for younger WA members who predominately use handheld devices to consume information.
