The South East Learning Alliance contacted us about creating a new website to promote their teacher training and development programmes. Whilst they had a brochure already in circulation, they had no online presence and were not feeling that their logo and branding truly reflected their offer.
Before embarking on the website project, we worked with SELA, an alliance of 14 schools, to create a new logo and colour scheme that reflected the many partners of the alliance whilst allowing room for new schools to join in the future. We created the tree logo with many colours… each colour representing a partner. It was agreed that the colour scheme for the website would embrace a multi-colour palette so that no one school’s colour seemed to be preferred!
SELA needed an interactive schools directory, so that prospective teacher trainees could easily find out about the school in which could do their training. Information about each school needed to be easy to update and contain a photo gallery, contact details, mission statement, logo and interactive map.
We’re delighted with the look and feel of SELA’s new website and hope that it plays a part in bringing many new candidates into the teaching profession.
