We were very happy indeed to have been invited to attend the launch of the Octavo Partnership‘s new services, at Fairfield Halls on Thursday 12th February.
Our recent work with Croydon Headteachers’ Association (who had asked us to build a website that featured a directory of Croydon schools, dynamic news feed, members’ area and social media presence), had brought Octavo into our consciousness (CHTA are a 40% stakeholder) so it was a good opportunity for us to go along and find out more about how provision of educational services is changing in the Borough of Croydon.
Andy Crofts, the Principal of one of Smarter Reach’s clients, The Quest Academy, is currently Chairman of the Board for Octavo and opened the session.
As well as enhancing our knowledge, the launch was something of a networking opportunity for us. In the half hour we were there, we won the opportunity to pitch for two new pieces of work for Croydon schools (a nursery and a secondary Academy). Watch this space!
